Upgradation of Community Health Centres (CHC), Ranchi district - The project aims at renovating and upgrading the Malnutrition Treatment Centre (MTC) and Reproductive & Child Health Care (RCH) centre. These centres are responsible for taking care of the health and nutrition of both mother and child, ensuring proper development of the child and improving the mother’s quality of life.

The RCH wings of CHC provide a wide range of services to both the mother and child like Routine Immunization (RI), Ante-Natal Care (ANC), referrals, etc. Close to 150 children along with their mothers avail these services. This renovation ensures long-term access to health and nutritional support to some of the most marginalised communities in Mandar Block, Ranchi District, Jharkhand.

The work includes expansion of space following social-distancing norms, construction of toilets and bathing areas, installation of drinking water facilities, and proper sewage treatment. This project is being implemented in partnership with Round Table India (RTI) NGO.
